The Food and Drink

Wake up to a cup of tea or coffee then come down in your dressing gown to breakfast with free range eggs cooked to order.  After an energetic day on the slopes come back to a hot drink with homemade cake or cookies.  Dinner is served dinner party style with complementary aperitifs beforehand and wine chosen to complement the food.  Most of our guests look forward to a home cooked, locally sourced four course meal in the evening.

Some of our guest have asked if they can have a less formal dining experience.  Providing your party has hired the whole chalet, we can do something different. We could, for example leave a casserole on the hob, a dish of boulangère potatoes ready to pop in the oven and a green salad on the side.  Or perhaps a platter of charcuterie and cheese with a hearty minestrone soup?  Talk to us before your holiday and we can be flexible.

Wine is really important and we have great fun sourcing it, where possible, direct from the producer. We take pride in our choices of house wine but also offer the opportunity for you to purchase other wines should you want something finer.  Again, we have sourced some of these directly from the producer and will be delighted to give you recommendations (the Goerg Rose Champagne is stunning!) And So To Bed

At night, fall into the crisp, while cotton sheets of the gorgeously deep divan beds.  Used to a big double bed?  No problem - all rooms are fitted with twin beds which can be zipped together to make a super king size if you prefer.  Just tell us which you’d like when you book.

The bedrooms all have large windows, balconies, under floor heating and lots of storage space.  Each room has its own smart, en-suite bathroom with large bath towels, dressing gowns and slippers.  Rooms two and three also have shower screens.  Complementary toiletries are provided in the rooms and a hair dryer is available.
